The Starlights Program at The Woodlands United is the perfect launchpad for young athletes ready to take their volleyball journey to the next level! Designed for players in 3rd–6th grade (ages 9–12), this program is ideal for those who dream of playing for a junior high team or joining a competitive club team in the near future.

No tryouts? No problem! Starlights is open to all players eager to learn, grow, and shine. With two training sessions per week, athletes receive personalized skills instruction tailored to their individual needs. In addition to targeted skill work, players participate in small group training and high-energy, competitive games, ensuring plenty of valuable court time and real-game experience.

This isn’t just practice—it’s purposeful, focused, and fun. Players learn key fundamentals, court discipline, and game awareness—all in a positive environment that emphasizes growth, teamwork, and enjoyment. We believe in teaching the FUNdamentals and instilling a love for the game from day one!

Our USAV-certified coaches are more than just skilled—they’re passionate mentors. Each coach has passed a comprehensive background check, is SafeSport certified, and is fully committed to fostering both the athletic and personal development of every player.

Professional Coaching – No Parent Volunteers Needed

A portion of your fees goes directly toward paying experienced, USAV-certified coaches—so parents can relax and enjoy the games! All coaches have completed SafeSport training, background checks, and misconduct awareness education, ensuring a safe, supportive environment for every player.
