WELCOME TO THE WOODLANDS UNITED STARLIGHTS SKILLS SESSIONS!
The Starlights program here at The Woodlands United, is a terrific fit for players seeking an elevated challenge in volleyball with hopes of joining a club or a junior high team in the future. This program hosts players ranging from 3rd – 6th grade (9-12yrs old) seeking to develop the necessary skills essential for continuing to make our club teams here at The Woodlands United, in addition to junior high school volleyball, which is highly competitive in our area.
NO tryout is necessary in this program. Players train twice a week. Our skills training focuses on the specific needs of the individual players. Group training includes skill development, small group training and competitive games which provide each player with valuable court time and experience. The Starlights program teaches players court discipline and focus without compromising a good time. We teach the FUNdamental of volleyball and how to play the game.
Coaches are USAV certified and have had background checks. In addition, our coaches have completed SafeSport certification and are trained and understand the role they play in individual development and personal growth.
